What is Planoly?

Planoly plans and publishes your social content. You connect your accounts, build your posts in one place, choose when each one goes out, and Planoly publishes them at that time.

Which networks can I use?

Eight: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, and X.

Not all of them publish the same way. Planoly posts to most of them automatically at the time you set; X is reminder-only, so Planoly notifies you and you post by hand. Auto-post vs. reminder covers which is which.

What is a workspace?

A workspace holds one set of connected channels, along with its posts, media, and members. If you manage two brands, you give each its own workspace and switch between them. A tour of the planner shows where everything lives.

What does each plan include?

Plans differ on how many workspaces and members you get:

You can buy extra workspaces and extra members on top of any paid plan, so the numbers above are starting points rather than ceilings.

The AI caption writer, stock media, caption templates, the media library, and collaboration all need a paid plan. Everything else, including planning and scheduling, works on Free.

How do I add team members?

Invite them from your workspace settings. How many you can add depends on your plan, and you can buy extra seats. See managing team members.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. While a trial is running, the Billing page shows a Trial badge and you are not charged. A trial counts as an active subscription, so paid features work during it and you can change plans mid-trial. See changing your plan.

Why didn't my post go out?

Three common causes:

• The channel connection expired. Open the channel's menu and select Refresh Channel Connection. See refreshing a channel connection.
• The channel is set to reminder, not auto-post. A reminder post waits for you to publish it by hand.
• A file broke one of the network's rules. See media requirements for auto-post.

Why won't my channel connect?

Start with connecting a social channel. If it is Instagram or Facebook, Facebook linking errors covers the specific messages Meta returns and what each one means.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, from Account > Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the period you already paid for, and you can cancel a scheduled downgrade before it lands. See changing your plan.

Why is my carousel not working?

Slide limits, file sizes, and aspect ratios differ by network, and Planoly checks them before it lets you schedule. Carousel posts has the per-network rules.

A post published, but it is missing from my grid

The grid reads your Instagram feed rather than Planoly's own records, so a post made outside Planoly can be missing until the grid catches up. See refreshing your Instagram grid.

Where are saved hashtags?

Under Keywords & Captions in the sidebar. Groups you save there can be dropped into any caption. See writing and formatting captions.
