The free plan

An account with no paid subscription is on the free plan. Planoly does not sell it, and it does not appear in the plan picker. You are on it before you ever subscribe, and you return to it after a subscription ends.

The billing page names it Free and offers Upgrade in place of the usual plan controls.

What the free plan includes

• 1 workspace
• 1 user, which is you
• 10 posts per month, per workspace

Connecting channels, planning your grid, scheduling posts, and post reminders all work.

The 10 posts a month limit

The count goes up when you create a post, whichever way you create it: one at a time, in bulk, by duplicating an existing post, or as a placeholder. Editing, rescheduling, and deleting posts do not touch it. Uploading media does not touch it either.

The counter resets on the first of the month, UTC.

The planner sidebar carries a Usage card showing how many of the ten you have used, a progress bar, and the date it resets. Workspace owners get an Upgrade plan button under it. Members see a line pointing them at the owner instead.

Content templates are a step beyond that: they need the Content Marketplace add-on, which is sold on top of the Growth and Professional plans.

Trials count as paid

A free trial is a subscription, so everything above is unlocked for its whole length. So is an account whose latest payment has failed but whose subscription has not been cancelled. See choosing a paid plan for what each plan costs and how the trial works.

What happens when a subscription ends

The account drops to the free plan: one workspace, one user, ten posts a month. Paid features stop working. Nothing is deleted for you. Planoly does not remove your posts, your media, or the extra workspaces and team members you had while paying.

Moving down to a smaller paid plan behaves differently: that is blocked until you are already inside the smaller plan's workspace and member limits. See cancelling your subscription.
