How to Use Canva on PLANOLY

We’re always looking for new ways to help simplify your social planning process – and save you time scheduling content for all your most important channels including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok. We’ve received hundreds of requests from our users for access to various design tools to make creating and uploading content with Planoly even easier. So integrating with Canva was a no-brainer!

Canva fans rejoice! Whether you’re planning in your multi-channel workspace or in a designated Instagram or Pinterest only workspace, you can access your Canva designs directly in Planoly. This premium feature puts an end to the laborious processes of downloading, saving, and re-uploading your Canva files.  We’ve created a seamless connection with Canva that allows you to access any existing content or create a new design - all from your Planoly web dashboard. (Please note: Uploading from Canva is a paid feature.)

Now, let’s get to the most important part. Here’s how to access Canva on Planoly!

How to Access Canva on Planoly

1. Log into your account on planoly.com
   Note: Canva is not available in the Planoly Mobile App.
2. Create a new post or edit an existing post and select ‘Canva’ instead of ‘My Computer’ when uploading your media
3. A Canva pop-up screen will appear where you can log in or create an account with Canva.
4. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to access existing designs or create a new one.
5. After you’ve selected your image or video content, simply click the “Save to Planoly” button in the top right corner.
6. Once the content is on Planoly, you can finalize your post details and schedule the content to auto-post at your desired time or save it as a draft for later.

Edit Your Canva Content When Scheduling in PLANOLY

Good news - we don't just stop at uploading Canva content to Planoly. You can also edit or swap out your Canva designs when scheduling your content! Here's how you do it.

• Click on any unscheduled post in your Planoly grid that you uploaded via Canva
• Click the ‘C’ icon at the bottom of your post
• Make your desired changes in Canva and then click on 'Save to Planoly’
