Duplicate a post

Copying a post saves you rebuilding one you have already made.

From the Instagram grid

1. Hover the post and open its menu at the bottom of the card.
2. Select Create a Copy.
3. When Duplicate post asks you to confirm, select Create copy.

From the list or gallery view

1. Hover the post.
2. Select the copy icon, labelled Duplicate post.
3. Confirm with Create copy.

From a published post

Open the published post. Its footer has Create a Copy next to the publish date.

What gets copied

The copy carries over:

• Every channel on the original post, with its own post type and settings.
• Media, in the same order.
• Caption and first comment.
• The auto-post or reminder setting per channel.
• The campaign the original belongs to.

Where the copy action is not shown

The grid card menu is hidden while a post is publishing and after it has published. To copy a published post, open it and use Create a Copy in the footer.

A copy consumes one post from your plan's allowance, so it fails if you are already at your limit.
