Create and publish an online course

Design, organize, and sell a course directly from your Creator Store.

Open the course builder

1. Log into your Planoly Creator Store.
2. From your dashboard, select Products > New Product > Online Course.

You land in the Course Builder, where you can customize everything from the Checkout Page to Course Materials.

Select Save as Draft in the top-right corner to save your progress at any point.

Set up the checkout page

The checkout page is the first page potential learners see.

• Add your course title and price.
• Upload a featured image or video (jpg, png, or mov).
• Write a selling description that says what students will gain.

Use the checklist inside the editor to focus on:

• Hook: grab attention with a strong opening.
• Problem & Solution: explain what problem your course solves.
• Benefits: share what learners will achieve.
• Audience: identify who the course is for.

Learners see this page when they enroll. They can add their payment details, enter promo codes, and choose a payment method such as Cash App Pay.

Customize the course homepage

The course homepage is where students access lessons, track progress, and leave reviews. Students see progress bars, reviews, and available modules in one place.

• Add your course cover image and instructor photo.
• Personalize your welcome message or upsell section, such as "Book a 1:1" or "Contact".
• Organize your Modules and Lessons into a learning path.

Add course material

The Course Material tab is where you structure the course with Modules and Lessons.

1. Select + Add a Module to create a section, such as "Introduction" or "Advanced Techniques".
2. Inside a module, select + Add a Lesson.
3. Choose a Lesson Type:
   • Lesson for written content, images, or video lessons.
   • Quiz for interactive learning checks with open or multiple-choice questions.

Create a lesson

A lesson can include:

• Text section: explain, clarify, or expand your topic.
• Media upload: an image, video, or audio file (.jpg, .mov, .mp3).
• Additional resources: PDFs or documents (.pdf, .doc, .xls).

Keep each lesson concise and easy to digest. You can add multiple lessons within one module.

Add a quiz

Quizzes are optional.

1. In the Course Material tab, select Quiz.
2. Add your question type, either open-ended or multiple-choice with a correct answer.
3. Add the options, mark the correct answer, and select Set question as required if you need it answered.

Set up payments

In the Payment tab:

• Enter your course price.
• Enable or disable discount codes.
• Confirm your connected payment method, such as Cash App Pay.

Review settings and publish

1. Go to the Settings tab.
2. Check your course visibility and instructor name.
3. Select Publish in the top-right corner. The course goes live instantly.

You can come back later to edit lessons or update content without unpublishing the course.

Once published, the course appears in your Creator Store and you can share it through your store link.
