Use content templates
Browse the Content Marketplace's Canva templates from the Templates tab in Discover and open one in Canva to customize it.

Content templates are editable Canva designs, grouped into collections. They give you a starting layout when you would rather customize than design from scratch.
What unlocks them
Content templates come with the Content Marketplace add-on, which is sold on the Growth and Pro plans only. On Starter there is no add-on to buy — you have to move up a plan first. It is billed monthly or yearly, and you add or remove it during checkout in your billing settings.
Access is resolved from the workspace owner. If a workspace you collaborate on does not have the add-on, the owner has to add it.
Browse templates
- Select Discover in the left sidebar.
- Select the Templates tab.
- Select a collection to see the templates inside it.
- Select a template to open its preview.
Customize a template
- Open a template preview.
- Select Edit in Canva.
Canva opens in a new tab with the template loaded. Swap in your own photos and text, recolor it, then bring the finished design back into a post.
Tips
- The calendar can also show holidays and awareness days alongside your posts. Open the calendar settings to turn those event categories on or off.
- Save your recurring caption formats as sets in Keywords & Captions so a customized template only needs its copy pasted in.
