Manage your notifications
Turn email and push notifications on or off per category on the web and in the mobile app.
Updated
On this page
Planoly sends post reminders, publishing results, and account alerts by email and push. You control each category separately.
Change notification settings on the web
- Open Account > Settings.
- Select Notifications.
- Use the Email and Push switches at the top to turn every category on or off for that delivery channel.
- Below that, toggle Push and Email for each category.
Changes save as you make them. There is no save button.
The categories are:
- Post Publishing: auto-post success and failure.
- Post Reminders: reminders for scheduled posts.
- Collaboration: comment mentions and accepted invitations.
- Account Health: channel reconnection and payment problems.
- Subscription: plan and billing updates.
- Marketing: product updates and announcements.
Every category is on for both email and push until you change it.
Turn on push notifications
The Push switch stays disabled until a device is registered. Sign in to the Planoly mobile app and allow notifications, and the device appears here.
Once you have a device, select the gear icon on the Push row to see each registered device and the date it was registered. You can delete a device from that list to stop sending push notifications to it.
Change notification settings in the mobile app
- Open the Profile tab.
- Under Preferences, select Notifications.
- If the banner at the top asks for permission, select Enable. If notifications were denied earlier, select Open Settings and allow them in your device settings.
- Toggle Push and Email for each row under Publishing, Collaboration, and Account.
Post Publishing, Post Reminders, and Account Health are marked Recommended. Post reminders are required for reminder-only channels, so leave them on if you finish posts in the social app.
Notifications you cannot turn off
Password reset emails and workspace invitations always send, whatever your preferences are.
Check your mobile app version
- Open the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
The version is shown under the log out button. Tap it to copy your version and build details, then paste them into a support conversation.
