Auto-post is a great feature for planning out content you want to schedule for the next few days, weeks, or even months ahead! Gathering all of your social media content beforehand will help you create a consistent and smart social strategy. Plus, it helps you stay on top of everything that you’re planning to post. This is a HUGE benefit to anyone who has lots of content to share, but not enough time to be online throughout the day. For a full breakdown of auto-post, watch our PLANOLY Academy videos featured below or read our blog post, Learn How to Auto-Post to Instagram via PLANOLY.
All users (free or paid!) who have linked Instagram Business or Creator accounts can use auto-post. Free PLANOLY users can only auto-post grid image posts or Story image posts, while paid users can auto-post images, GIFs, image Carousels, Stories, and Reels posts.
Carousel video posts are not eligible for auto-posting at this time, due to Instagram’s limitations. Note: There are only certain types of media, sizes, resolutions, and video lengths that can be uploaded. Here’s a breakdown of auto-post guidelines and limitations.
Edit & share is a PLANOLY paid feature that allows you to customize and share your auto-post Instagram content to additional social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. It’s a feature all about simplifying your social strategy, saving you time, and allowing you to be more strategic when sharing to each channel. (Plus, it makes it more discreet that you're using a social planning platform to share or plan posts.)
