Add your own custom domain

If you already bought a domain from another company, you can connect it to your Creator Store.

Connect an existing domain

1. Go to Settings > Custom Domain.
2. Select Connect existing domain.

3. Enter your domain, then pick from the options that appear.

4. Answer Is there any content currently published at this domain?

• Select No if this is an unused domain. Enter your domain details and select Next.
• Select Yes if you are currently using the domain for your site, blog, or anything else. The DNS steps below then apply.

Update your DNS settings

Your domain provider may ask for the details shown on this screen.

If you have not configured your DNS settings yet, log in to your domain provider and follow their steps before you continue.

Your domain administrator may need the following.

1. Select Manage DNS.
2. Select Add to add a new record.
3. Under the Type menu, select A.
4. Enter the details for the new A record.

• Name: type @ to put the A record on your root domain.

A subdomain works differently. Creator Store gives you a CNAME record instead of an A record: set the name to your subdomain and point it at cname.vercel-dns.com. Do not use www — the store asks for a subdomain other than that one.

• Value: the IP address for the A record. This is the value shown on the Creator Store screen: 76.76.21.21.

Finish in Creator Store

1. Return to Custom Domain.
2. Select Add Domain.
3. Once your domain verifies, it is ready to use on your Creator Store.

Verification usually takes up to 24 hours. If your domain still does not verify, contact the support team through the contact form.
