Hey Planoly fam…we have some news that will rock your world. We know you’re busy making planning moves, so we’re THRILLED to announce that Business Accounts can now Auto-Post on Planoly! Go ahead and pinch yourself if you have to, but it’s real. The days of having to do the extra step of pushing posts through on Instagram are over. You can now schedule your content and watch it magically appear on your grid. Is this the future or what?! This news definitely changes the game, but there are some things you need to know before using this feature. Read on to find out Instagram’s guidelines for the in’s and out’s of auto-posting via Planoly.
Who Can Use It?
In order to Auto-Post you must have an Instagram Business Account. It’s easy to do – Click here to set up your Business Account.
What Kind of Images Can You Use?
We support JPEG and PNG for the Auto-Post feature as required by Instagram. You can upload images with the maximum file size as large as 8MB.
What Are the Image Specifications?
Images have to be within a 4:5 to 1.91:1 aspect ratio range. For example, if you take an image using the ‘Square’ option on your phone, that is a 1:1 image ratio. The image resolution is also something to consider and is best to keep between 150×150 and 1920×1080, otherwise your image could be blurry. If it’s smaller or larger, it will be scaled up or down to size.
Minimum Resolution: 150×150
Maximum Resolution: 1920×1080 (higher resolutions will be scaled down to the maximum)
What Can You NOT Auto-Post?
- Multi-Image Posts
- User Tags
- Shopping Tags
- Branded Content Tag
